Moved country again
A few chilly mornings and long stretches of rainy days indicated that Autumn has indisputably arrived in Bergen. More than nine months has passed since we moved back to Norway from New Zealand, and we both felt that a new adventure was long overdue. A wee bit of project juggling on Jessica's part, and a pair of tickets from Lufthansa pointed us in the direction of New Brunswick, New Jersey, USA, home to Rutgers University and one of Jessica's collaborators through her project at the University of Bergen. Here we will live for about the next five months, compliments of very generous travel stipend from Norwegian Research Council.
We are renting a cozy house in a quiet neighbourhood in Highland Park, across the Raritan River from New Brunswick and about 4 km from Jessica's office on campus. I'm so thrilled to once again having my own office, and I bet Jessica is even more thrilled to get me out of the living room with my computer, books, sketches, wires and cables.
